We had the experience of having my wife's pregnancy followed-up in NMC Royal Hospital - Sharjah, and the delivery of our baby "Mohammed" on 17th of December was there as well.
The follow-up throughout the pregnancy journey was with Dr Mona Azmy. No matter what I say, I will not be able to express my gratitude and appreciation to her. She demonstrated outstanding experience, knowledge, empathy, kindness, communication skills and professionalism throughout the journey. I have to thank sister Sisy and sister Trisha in the clinic for their support and lovely attitude and professionalism.
Dr Mona Azmy was responsible for the delivery as well. And, again, we really appreciate her excellent performance of a smooth delivery, Alhamdulillah. Sisters Rajimon, Benila, Veena, as well as Dr Shagufta and Dr Hiba were very supportive and professional throughout the labor. Dr Arun (anesthetology) performed the epidural skillfully and successfully, and fully explained all the procedure details and answered all our questions prior to that. He was also there whenever needed. Many thanks to him.
Afterwards, in the Maternity ward 14, Dr Mona frequently checked the status of my wife, and Sister Gianina was always present to follow-up and support in every possible way. Sisters Reni, Deepa, Geethu, Suparna, Anu, Anju, Suja, Aswathy, Veena, Aswathi, Jincy, Manju were so professional, with a soothing smile on their faces, they worked tirelessly for the health of the mother and baby Mohammed.
The ladies in the Nursery: Aimee, Sebena, and Piti (sorry if I missed anyone else) did an amazing job in taking care of the baby, spending so much time to teach us how to care for him and advise and oversee the breastfeeding, and being always there whenever requested.
Overall, all the staff, from HCPs to security, receptionists, cafeteria and restaurant staff, cleaners, Valet staff, and everyone else were professional, friendly and very cooperative. Unfortunately I can't mention everyone's name here, and surely I missed many.
