Dr Amjed Alhilo has completed his Bachelors in Medicine & Surgery, Masters in Cardiothoracic Surgery and DM (Cardiothoracic Surgery) from the Iraqi Board. He also holds a Fellowship from the European board of Cardiac Thoracic Surgeon and a Certificate of experience from Leipzig University, Germany.
Dr Amjed Alhila’s area of expertise include Conventional CABG, Minimal Invasive technique, Congenital heart disease, Vascular disease & Thoracic surgical procedures.
Dr Amjed is a member of the European Association of Cardiothoracic Surgery, World Society of Paediatrics & Congenital Heart Disease and a Member of the Iraqi association of Cardiothoracic Surgery.
He has several publications to his credit namely “Off pump vs on pump CABG outcome”, “ Aneurysmorrhaphy on beating heart”, “Double Outlet Right Ventricle (DORV) Surgery & Outcome”.
