NMC Royal Hospital Sharjah conducted the Pre-Diabetes Awareness Event on 17th July 2021
NMC Royal Hospital, Sharjah initiated the largest diabetes awareness campaign by a healthcare provider in the Sharjah & Northern Emirates region. The senior management team realise that there is a severe dearth of pre-diabetes awareness in the region. So, as part of NMC Royal’s CSR activity, we initiated the campaign reach out to the community & provide them with RBS screening followed by consultation wherever appropriate with our multi-disciplinary endocrinology department.
Pre-Diabetes Awareness commenced by 12pm at two locations simultaneously namely at Block A & Block C. The turnout for the event was recorded at 308.
The patient & their relatives appreciated the awareness campaign conducted by NMC Royal Hospital, Sharjah.
