Hemorrhoids

‘Hemorrhoids’ the organ
is an integral part of the human body, responsible for supporting the anus to control defecation. It can get swollen due to some circulatory disorders and cause the well-known disease called ‘Hemorrhoids’ with many symptoms like itching, pain and/ or bleeding.

‘Hemorrhoids’ the disease
is a big problem with an increasing incidence among the young population, in addition to its predominant prevalence among elder people. It has no definite causes, but many factors can contribute in developing it like:

Hemorrhoids

  • Meals with low fiber content
  • Chronic constipation or prolonged diarrhea
  • Obesity and sitting for long hours
  • Heavy consumption of coffee, alcohol or spicy food
  • Pregnancy or genetic factors

‘Hemorrhoids’ the disease is usually treated at its early stages by changing eating habits and some symptomatic treatments but, in the majority of cases, the above would fail to prevent further aggravation of the case. At this later stage, the disease used to be treated by complete cutting of the Hemorrhoids, the organ, depriving the body from its vital physiological function.

Hemorrhoids to treat or to remove, that’s the question

To remove may result in:

  • Excruciating pain and trauma
  • Three weeks of post-operative suffering and bed stay
  • Slow recovery and extended delay to resume normal activities
  • Depriving the body from the vital function of hemorrhoids
  • Long term unpleasant consequences, like fecal incontinence
