Dr Venkatesh Manchikanti completed his MBBS from PES IMSR followed by MD in Radio Diagnosis from Narayana Medical College Nellore, India. He has also completed DNB Radio Diagnosis and European Diploma in Radiology (EDIR) in post MD Radio Diagnosis.
Dr. Venkatesh is a passionate radiologist with abundant experience in Neuroimaging, MSK and cross-sectional imaging with special interest in post processing techniques and optimization of image quality. He is a strong believer of clinical Radiology. He is a life member of IRA,ICRI and NAMS.
Dr Venkatesh is a passionate teacher with dedicated online presence for teaching and he is a creator of YouTube channel - Shades of Radiology which is one of the top five Radiology YouTube channels in India. He is a medical illustrator and mentor for post graduate students. He also has more than 40 publications in various national and international journals.
He authored a chapter – “Role of imaging in tracheostomy in the book - Tracheostomy- Indications , safety and outcomes with Nova publishers.” and authored a chapter – “MRI in MSK” for an upcoming book of textbook of Clinical Radiology by Elsevier publications. He was also a co-author for a book radiology without tears - Volume 2.
Dr. Venkatesh contributed 150 articles at radio pedia.org and has given more than 20 guest lectures at various national conferences and CME.
