Dr Arif Adenwala completed his MBBS and Masters in Ophthalmology from Government Medical College in India and his fellowship in Cataract and Phacoemulsification from renowned charitable eye hospital in Pune, India. He also completed fellowship from Royal College of Surgeons Glasgow UK and DNB Ophthalmology. He did his diploma in Cataract and Refractive surgery from University of Ulster with Prof Dan Reinstein Medical Director London Vision Clinic and completed his Fellowship from American College of Surgeons.
Dr Arif has taken training in Cornea from world famous L V Prasad Eye Hospital India and Management of Keratoconus including Cross Linkage from Prof Theo Selier Zurich. He has also attended many courses and Wet lab for Keratoplasty and INTACS etc
Dr Arif is quite active in academic field having conducted many instruction courses in international conferences like ESCRS,AAO etc and has presented papers and posters during these International and national meetings. He is also reviewer with prestigious Indian Journal of Ophthalmology. He has written many interesting chapters in International Text books of Ophthalmology.
Dr Arif was working as Head of Department with one of the premier healthcare group for more than 15 years and was able to establish the eye department as fully equipped place for his patients. He is seeing patients in all age group from neonates to old elderly person.
Dr Arif is an Ultra marathon runner having completed many Full and Half Marathon locally in UAE and outside in London, Paris, New York, Malaysia, India and Taiwan. He also plays Table Tennis and brought many medals under is credit. He has actively participated and presented talks in various CSR corporate events.
