Dr. Ahmed completed Bachelors in Medicine & Surgery from Cairo University in the year 2005 which is considered one of the most famous universities in the Middle East and North Africa followed by Masters in Ophthalmology from Ain Shams University, Cairo. He further attained Membership of Royal College of Edinburgh, and furthermore he attained his Fellowship in International Council of Ophthalmology from Belgium
Dr. Ahmed has over 15 years of experience in the field of Ophthalmology & Refractive Surgery in Dubai, Egypt & Kuwait. He has practiced as an Assistant Lecturer and Specialist, Ophthalmology in several prominent hospitals in Egypt, Kuwait and Dubai.
Dr. Ahmed has attended several international & national conferences and has various research papers to his name, the latest being – “Factors influencing prevalence of amblyopia in children” and his ongoing Phd thesis is upon “high order aberrations pre and post femtosmile and femto-Lasik surgeries
