The Quality and Performance Improvement Department (QPID) at NMC Royal Hospital Sharjah launched another innovative program called LEADERSHIP 2020 – Fueled by the Desire to Excel.

  • The Quality and Performance Improvement Department (QPID) at NMC Royal Hospital Sharjah launched another innovative program called LEADERSHIP 2020 – Fueled by the Desire to Excel. As part of this program 40 employees from various departments will be trained by QPID for next 3 months to improve their leadership skills and using Quality Enhancement strategies to make improvement projects for the Hospital.

    Based on the success of Leadership in Quality Program conducted in 2019, the three focus areas for Leadership 2020 program will be to implement projects that can:

    • Optimize the patient experience
    • Minimize Waste / Improve efficiency in the Hospital
    • Improve Patient, Staff or Facility Safety

    At the end of the program, all projects will be evaluated and shared in various awards, conferences and abstracts.
