NMC Royal Hospital Sharjah celebrated International Housekeeping Week on 12th September 2019
NMC Royal Hospital Sharjah celebrated International Housekeeping Week on 12th September 2019. The event was graced by Mr Santhosh Skaria, General Manager – NMC Royal Hospital Sharjah & Sharjah Cluster & Mr Godfrey Pereira, Facility Manager. The event was attended by the entire housekeeping staff and supervisors.
Keeping with the theme of Kings & Queens of Clean, the event kick started with an inspiring speech by Mr Santhosh Skaria. This was followed by cake cutting with the entire team of housekeeping department. Awards were distributed to 7 domestic assistants from the housekeeping department for their dedication & hard-work. They were congratulated for their exemplary work ethic and for being an inspiration to their fellow colleagues. The award winners were:

The award ceremony was followed by games like Musical Chairs, Passing the Parcels & other unique games. Gift hampers were distributed and the dance floor was packed with the enthusiastic staff dancing to the DJ’s tunes. Mr Godfrey gave the vote of thanks to a very happy crowd of 80 people, followed by a photo session and a multi-cuisine buffet.
All the staff were highly appreciative of the excellent initiative by the NMC Corporate Office.
