Dr Arindam Ghosh has extensive experience as a senior consultant and gastrointestinal surgeon. And general surgeon at several prestigious hospitals in the UAE and in India. He started his career. As a consultant, assistant professor, and head of surgical gastroenterology at one of the Most prestigious teaching hospitals in India—Dayanand Medical College & Hospital, after Which he continued his journey as a senior consultant and head of GI and HPB surgery in his Subsequent job—SPS APOLLO HOSPITALS—here he established ADVANCED LAPAROSCOPIC DIGESTIVE SURGERY PROGRAMME & performed the first successful LIVING DONOR LIVER TRANSLATION IN NORTH INDIA.

 

After 20 years of GI SURGERY PRACTICE, he became one of the first licensed consultants. GASTROINTESTINAL SURGEON in the UAE.

 

He has performed over 12,000 routine and advanced laparoscopic digestive system surgeries. He to his credit 300 plus WHIPPLE”S, 150 plus GASTRIC AND ESOPHAGEAL resections, over 1500 COLORECTAL operations, and more. He is a pioneering digestive and laparoscopic surgeon and has Performed over 1500 bariatric procedures. He has a keen interest in perianal diseases and complex Hernia.

 

He is also a pioneering, certified robotic surgeon in the MENA region.
